Drive Me Challenge

At TNT, we combine deliveries while driving change. Nowadays talking about employee engagement is overrated. Every company talks about it, but it has become difficult to really promote it or measure it. However, how refreshing it is when you find yourself in a company that truly walks its talk, and creates opportunities like the Drive Me Challenge.

For over four years, the Drive Me Challenge has demonstrated that being committed to sustainability, road safety and customer service can be a fun part of our daily operations. This initiative has proven to be a successful way to reach 15,000 drivers in over 30 countries around the world; who later become ambassadors in fuel efficiency, road safety and customer service for other employees.

This program is an international driving competition that replicates a typical day’s work for a TNT driver, including making deliveries and collecting parcels. This challenge is unique because it rewards drivers by recognizing their highest level of driving performance while pairing them up with senior managers as co-drivers.

TNT employees and subcontractors really appreciate this initiative, and this appreciation has been translated into positive operational results, because while “proud drivers perform better”, TNT achieves cost reductions and fewer CO2 emissions.
