For the 3rd time Lysanda was partner of the 2012 Global Drive Me Challenge. Lysanda, a developer and supplier of automotive high quality solutions which provides driver behaviour, fuel savings and reduced CO2 emission benefits.
This year the Drive Me Challenge was also about health. In fact since health is tightly connected to safety we decided to put drivers and co-drivers to the test.
Ellen Witte and I arrived at Düsseldorf on the 3th October around 9.30 in the morning. We were both quite nervous and anxious because there was still much to do before meeting the teams.
Rosario Lipani is the Italian winning driver. He’s thoughtful, careful, precise, but also very fond of his job. Even when he doesn’t work, he enjoys driving.
Portugal selected its best driver: Fernando Gonçalo Leite. Nobody can take him away from his personal and professional goals and he’s quite sure he will reach the first place.
Bernard Mach won the French pre-round. He’s very good at taking care of details, finding solutions and working in a team.
Benelux finally has selected its best driver: Bryan van Tergouw. He comes from The Netherlands, he’s a very humble man who loves his job, who knows very well all his customers and doesn’t find difficult to get along with them. He’s definitely the ideal next-door neighbor.
Paul Adams, ex transport manager, has been working as a TNT linehaul driver for more than 12 years. After winning the UK and Ireland pre-round he has really been looking forward to the final, training his team to do its best.
Tanongsak Kengthanyakarn is the winning driver who will compete for the newcomer Thailand. He’s honest, careful, helpful, but don’t be taken in by appearances, he knows exactly what he wants and he’s determined to gain it.
