TNT Express UAE has successfully organised a blood donation camp in conjunction with the Dubai Blood Donation Centre of the Dubai Health Authority on Monday 25th of June 2012.
The centre was launched to show support and inspire others in the blood donation process. It began with a vision to educate people about blood donation and its mission is to help people when they are in need of Blood.
TNT Czech has organised a special Walk the World event this year; all participants played a game about Africa at a beautifal park in Prague. Not only did TNT Czech employees, family and other companies participate, they invited very special guests. Children from child homes brought their home made goods, which were sold to get money for kids in Africa- for our WFP. Eva Yildrim, CR coordinator at TNT Czech office, explains: "We were very satisfied with this event, because next to getting money for our WFP, we gave a very positive feeling to these kids from child homes.
What a fantastic day in South Africa! After reaching 300 participants last year, TNT Express South Africa did even more this year and saw the numbers increase and reach 459, the majority of which were TNT, DSM and WFP employees and their families.
The walk was set in the beautiful environment of the Pretoria National Zoo and also saw entertainment for the “walkers”: after crossing the finish line, were greated with games, music, and fun activities.
