The news is coming in thick and fast. My mail box is under assualt from streams of fantastic stories sent from walk coordinators all around the world. Whether its Lahore, La Paz or Lilongwe, the underlying spirit is the same: that these walks 'are cookin', as Arlene, our Director, would say...

I'll give you a taste of today's delivery:

All in all, with WFP and TNT staff, family and friends, celebrities like Miss Malawi and other local media personalities, NGOs, ministers, civil servants and all other well-wishers, the crowd walking the world in Malawi is going to swell to 120,000!! Congratulations Team!

We just passed 3,000... YOU just passed 3,000, thanks to all of the personal emails you sent to your friends and family. That's 3,000 hungry children that wouldn't have otherwise received the food that they need to survive and thrive.

This is my first time posting to the blog. I didn't want to let this moment pass without saying something. This is an exciting time, building partnerships and walking together to bring an end to child hunger.
