Enthusiasm and confidence are the Portuguese keys to success

Portugal selected its best driver: Fernando Gonçalo Leite. Nobody can take him away from his personal and professional goals and he’s quite sure he will reach the first place.

Describe yourself in maximum 20 words.
I consider myself honest, consistent with my beliefs, very social and a fun guy to be around and also committed to my goals.
What did you think when you realized that you were the winner of your national event?
I have thought in my direct contender and also was very happy to win with this competition since I will be proudly representing Portugal in the Drive Me International event.
Did you expect to win?
No, it was a complete surprise.
What kind of driver are you (PUD driver, linehaul, etc.)? How would you describe yourself as a driver?
I am a PUD driver, and I consider myself an experienced and overall good driver.
How many years of experience do you have within TNT?
I have been in working in TNT for around 5 years.
Describe briefly a typical workday.
I start working around yearly morning the Coimbra Depot and I will be performing the first delivery around 9:00. After a round of deliveries and pick-ups in the Marinha Grande / Figueira de Foz areas I will return to Coimbra depot around 18:00.
What do you like about your job?
I love to drive and the contact with the customers.
What kind of issues do you run into?
Some problems with the traffic and contacting some customers who are less sympathetic.
What do you think drive me can bring into your life?
I can evolve as a driver, since I am more aware of the efficient and ecological driving requirements in professional and personal life.
