I’m happy and proud to been able to help and run one of many projects last year, that has been deployed over the last ten years. For me personally, it’s been a life changing experience and very fulfilling, knowing that all you do is appreciated. Even though it has been more than a year ago, I’m still in contact with some centres in east Africa and colleagues of North Star Alliance. I, for one, will always be thankful and proud to have contributed to the Moving the World / North Star Alliance organization that really is making a huge difference, with so many enthusiastic employees, going the extra mile in order to help those in need, I am glad I was one of them.

It was wonderfull to represent North Star Alliance and Art for Aids International at the Afrikafestival in Hertme, The Netherlands on the 7th and 8th of July 2012. During this festival, my TNT colleague Ralf Taeuber and myself organized a market stand to represent North Star Alliance and Art for Aids International. Together with Rosanne Bonanno and Alexander Stukenberg and my TNT colleague Ralf Taeuber, we had the opportunity to sell the pictures from the NSA/ AFAI workshop, raise awareness, network and promote North Star Alliance. Despite the bad weather, this was an outdoor event, the pictures where sold quite good and it was amazing to see how impressed people where about the work of North Star Alliance. Some good networking was done and I hope this will be fruitful for both North Star Alliance and Art for Aids. For example some docters bought images for their practice and they assured us to promote North Star Alliance as they said it is such a good initiative. I had so much fun in doing this and would like to be back on the festival next year. I really am proud on contributing on the work of North Star Alliance, it is a great to do and I hope my work if only a little, can contribute in opening more and more medical clinics. I am now working on hosting a new exhibit at TNT ERN and are planning to continue organizing events. It is my way to help North Star Alliance to continue the good and so important work. I learn from it, can inform other people and it is fun. Thank you for letting me do this, I hope I can continue for a long time.
