Running the last mile for WFP

12 months later and I am about to do it again! In 48 hours’ time I will be on the starting line with other 40 000 runners for the 2010 edition of the Paris Marathon!  It all begun last year when I ran the first Marathon to raise funds for the World Food Programme (WFP), the response was good from my friends, family and colleagues.  I raised almost 1500 Euros that was donated to WFF via my company, TNT Express. I hope to raise the same amount this year besides the credit crunch!

Help me to “run the last mile for the WFP” by donating money to the nearest WPF centre or affiliated centre next to you. Every day 24 000 people die from starvation in the world and WFP is the champion that fights against hunger throughout the world. I won’t win the Marathon but I am proud to be running for the world champion against hunger. In 2010 about 90 million people will receive food aid from WFP. So the next question I am asking my self is not how many kilometres I need to run but “we do I start running again after the Marathon on Sunday, 11th of April”…
